Which reading should you choose? A guide based on what you are wondering
Published on

Profondio offers seven readings that you do by answering a few questions, sometimes with a photo, other readings that start from your birth details, and a space for ordinary days. They do not answer the same question. So it is better to choose by what you are wondering than by the name. Here is how to find your way, reading by reading.
If you are wondering who you could love
Do you want to see the person your answers draw? Then start with the soulmate portrait. You say what you live in love, what keeps coming back in your story, the person you hope for. A pencil portrait of your soulmate is drawn from what you described: their origin, their age, their look. A written report goes with it, with your assessment and concrete recommendations.
The article on the soulmate portrait tells in detail how the drawing is built, answer after answer. To see what others look for, the figures drawn from anonymous answers give a benchmark: what matters most to them, what they fear.
If someone already matters to you
A partner, someone you like, or even a friend: the compatibility reading compares your two astrological charts, planet by planet. You need your date of birth, then that person's and their city of birth (the nearest one is enough). If you do not know their time of birth, it does not matter: the reading is then done at noon. Allow about two minutes.
You get a score, then a reading in four parts: your identities, love, the karmic bond and friendship. It is not a verdict on your relationship, rather what brings you closer and what challenges you. To know what the calculation looks at and what it cannot say, read the article on love compatibility.
If you dream of a child to come
The portrait of your future baby starts from questions about you, about the other parent and about the family you dream of, with a photo of your face. The other parent's photo is optional, and for their origin, eyes and hair you can answer “I don't know” if you have not yet met that person. A pencil portrait is then drawn, and a reading is written: names, the favorable seasons for their arrival, their character, the bond that will unite you.
The article on the future baby portrait is made for you if you want to know the questions and the photos asked for before you start. It is an imagined portrait, never medical advice.
If an era attracts you and you do not know why
The reading of your past life starts from what attracts you and what unsettles you for no reason. Your answers point to an era, a place and a person, among dozens of lives across history. You add a selfie, which stays private: your own face appears in a portrait from another era, then a story tells who you were and what that life left in you. Allow about three minutes.
Take it as a game for the imagination, not as proof. The article on your past life is for you if you want to know how that life is chosen before you begin.
If you want to know yourself better: your hand or your iris
For the palm reading, you photograph your palm, hand open. It is read in ten parts, in the tradition of palmistry: your five lines (heart, head, life, fate and marriage), your element, your mounts, your fingers, the texture of your palm, then your palm as a whole. If you want your photo to work the first time, the article on palm reading explains how.
For the iris reading, you take a photo of your eye with your phone, close up, with the flash or in the sun. The photo is sharpened before it is read, in ten parts as well: your iris type, your color, your fibers, your rings, what keeps coming back in your life. It stays symbolic, never an opinion on your health. The guide to photographing your eye is there to help you.
If a photo of your hand reassures you more than a photo of your eye, choose the hand. In both cases, two minutes are enough, photo included.
If you need a moment of calm every day
Every day, the Oracle draws a card of the day for you, then a stream of cards: tarot, fortune cookies, thoughts and questions. There are 22 tarot cards, 300 fortune cookies and 200 questions with three answers, each with its own small reading, and from time to time a golden card, which is rarer. The article on the Oracle, tarot and thoughts is for you if you like opening a card without preparing anything.
If you prefer words to reread, the positive thoughts make up a stream based on about four minutes of questions about your mood and what you want to change. There are more than 600 thoughts, sorted into more than 80 topics, and you keep your favorites. For an appointment every day, the daily space brings together your horoscope written for your sign, the phase of the Moon and Kai, the online astrologer you put your questions to.
If you want a wider look at your sky
Other readings start from your birth details: your birth chart, your astrocartography, your marriage reading, your numerology, your forecasts for the year. A guide also teaches you how to read a chart. The article on the sky in detail goes through all of them. It is for you if you already know a little astrology, or if you want to learn it at your own pace.
What these readings do not do
These are symbolic readings: astrology, palmistry, iris reading, tarot, numerology. They decide nothing for you, they are not medical advice, and they promise no result. The soulmate portrait is imagined from your answers, it is not the photo of someone who exists.
When a reading starts from your answers, two people who answer differently do not receive the same text, but it remains a text written from what you said. Read it the way you leaf through a book that talks about you: to think, and for pleasure.
Where to start
Choose a single reading, the one that answers the question weighing on you most today. If it is love, start with the soulmate, then compatibility if someone matters to you. If you want to know yourself better, take the palm or the iris: a few questions and a photo are enough. If you only want gentleness, open the Oracle one morning.
There is no right or wrong answer. The more sincere your answers, the more your reading looks like you, and you can stop whenever you want.
